Janice lost seven pounds in two weeks with The Eat-Clean Diet®!

I am a 32-year-old mom and student. Although I’ve always been fit, I always knew I could do so much more with my body. I would look at myself in the mirror and say, “Not bad but there’s room for improvement.” Isn’t there always?

While I was in school I met the man of my dreams and he became my husband. He inspired me to clean up my diet because he eats a lot of organic food, maintains a regular and rigorous fitness routine and avoids processed foods. I knew that taking on these changes to my diet would be difficult because I’d have to give up the one thing I loved – sugar!

I started to reduce my sugar intake a little but I was suffering from withdrawal. My husband reassured me that the symptoms would pass as the toxins from all the junk I was eating left my body. I was discouraged but determined to make a change.

On one of my trips to the grocery story, I picked up the August issue of Oxygen magazine and noticed an advertisement for The Eat-Clean Diet® Recharged!  I went out and bought it right away. The book described every symptom I was feeling! I read the book in one day and when it was over it was like a light had turned on.

It has now been two weeks since I purchased your book. I’ve committed to following The Eat-Clean Diet® and I’ve taken up weight and interval training. I’ve lost an incredible seven-and-a-half pounds, and the symptoms I was feeling when I first quit eating sugar are all gone. No more crashes, blues or fatigue. I feel energized and amazing!

Tosca, I want to thank you wholeheartedly. I feel wonderful. The motivation in your book was just what I needed. My husband has been away for these few weeks and I can’t wait to show off all the progress I’ve made!

    Hi, Im going to start the eat clean diet, but I dont want to work out with weights, I just want to do cardio, is that enough?? if so should I eat all that proteins even if Im not working out? thanks, Mar

    Mar88, I can only tell you that no matter how you look at it - you need to exercise to be healthy. Cardio is not going to cut it.... Do the whole thing, you may just discover that you enjoy it!

    A couple of weeks ago we got a featured recipe for cole slaw. I can't find it and I don't think it is the one with an Asian twist. Anyone know the one I am looking for? Thanks Susan

    Hi! Allison, your post is just what I want to see right now because this is my first official day on TECD! I'm also going to blog about my journey on FitFineLines.com, to help inspire others as well. Congrats to all of you on here- I think this is probably the smartest, most sensible "diet" I've ever seen! Yay!
