Viviana teaches us how she is able to maintain her Eat-Clean Diet® Lifestyle while she travels for work!
Dear Tosca,
I was so happy to meet you at the 2009 Arnold Sports Festival! Knowing you and the team from Oxygen magazine were going to be there was my motivation for attending the event. What a weekend it was! My friend and I learned so much, particularly about The Eat-Clean Diet®!
I travel a lot and now there is not a trip I take without my cooler and Clean snacks. No more airline food and no more feeling sluggish from eating all my meals at restaurants!
Here’s how I stay on track with my Eat-Clean Diet® Lifestyle while I’m on the road:
1. I pack non-perishable snacks for the entire length of my trip (even if it makes my luggage heavier).
2. I find the closest local supermarket to my hotel so I can stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables.
3. I request a refrigerator in my hotel room for those fresh foods.
4. I avoid booking meetings over lunch or dinner. After all, a good meeting can still happen in the boardroom.
5. I choose hotels where I’m familiar with their workout facility and running paths.
6. When possible, I try to get outdoors to walk around and explore the new city I am.
The photo I’ve included with this letter is me walking through beautiful Norway with my Eat-Clean Diet® Shopping Bag! I wish I had tracked everywhere I’ve taken it! It has made many trips, traveled many miles and carried many Eat-Clean Diet® meals for me!
